Published by Dire Wolf Digital and designed by Paul Dennen, Dune: Imperium is a hybrid board game that blends two of the most beloved modern mechanisms: deck-building and worker placement.

Set in the universe of Frank Herbert's Dune, you play as one of the great Houses competing for control of Arrakis — the desert planet that produces the most valuable substance in the universe: spice.

And here's the thing: you don't need to know anything about Dune to enjoy this game. The theme is rich, but the mechanics stand completely on their own.

How Does It Play?

Each round, you play cards from your hand. Some cards send your agents to key locations on the board — Swordmaster training, the Spice markets, the Emperor's court — while others go into your "reveal" pile, giving you combat strength and resources at the end of the round.

The tension is constant: do you secure the Spice fields, or rush to recruit powerful allies? Do you build up your deck for long-term power, or push aggressively for influence now?
