What Is Sky Team?

Sky Team is a cooperative dice placement game exclusively for 2 players. One player is the pilot, one is the co-pilot. Each round, both players secretly roll four dice behind their screens. Then, in strict silence — no hints, no gestures, no expressions — players take turns placing dice in the cockpit control panel.

The cockpit has designated spaces for each control: the axis (pitch and roll), speed, flaps, landing gear, air traffic control, and coffee (which lets you modify die values). Every space has requirements — the right die value must go in the right place at the right time. Miss a critical placement and the plane stalls, overshoots, or collides with other aircraft. All three outcomes mean one thing: crash.

How Does It Play?

Each round represents an altitude level on the approach. Players roll dice, place them in the cockpit in silence, and then reveal — discovering together whether their choices aligned. The axis must stay balanced. Speed must decrease at the right rate. Flaps and landing gear must deploy at specific altitudes. Air traffic control must clear the path.

The tension builds because both players can see what the other is placing — but cannot ask questions or confirm assumptions. You watch your partner place a die and hope it means what you think it means. Sometimes you're right. Sometimes the plane banks violently and you realize you were both thinking completely differently.

As you play through the airport scenarios in campaign order, new modules are introduced — turbulence, ice brakes, unique airport hazards — that gradually increase the complexity and keep the experience fresh across dozens of sessions.
