One Night Ultimate Werewolf is one of the most played party games in the world — and for good reason. In just 10 minutes, it creates more laughter, accusations, and memorable moments than games that take three times as long. It's fast, it's social, and it's completely different every time you play.

Designed by Ted Alspach and published by Bezier Games, it strips the classic Werewolf/Mafia experience down to a single thrilling night — no elimination, no long waits, just pure deduction and deception from start to finish.

Groups who try One Night Ultimate Werewolf consistently report the same thing — one round is never enough. The 10-minute playtime makes it impossible to stop at just one game.

What Is One Night Ultimate Werewolf?

One Night Ultimate Werewolf is a social deduction party game for 3 to 10 players. Each player receives a secret role card — Werewolf, Villager, Seer, Robber, Troublemaker, and more. During the night phase (guided by a free app), players secretly use their abilities. In the morning, everyone has 5 minutes to discuss, argue, and accuse — then vote to eliminate the player they think is a Werewolf.

The genius of the game is that roles can change during the night without players knowing. The person who went to sleep as a Villager might wake up as a Werewolf. The chaos this creates is exactly what makes every round uniquely entertaining.

How Does It Play?

Setup takes under 2 minutes. Choose which role cards to include, deal one to each player face-down, and place three extra cards in the center. Everyone looks at their card secretly — then closes their eyes.

The free companion app then narrates the night phase, calling each role one by one to perform their action. The Seer peeks at another player's card. The Robber swaps their card with someone else's. The Troublemaker swaps two other players' cards without looking. All of this happens in silence while everyone's eyes are closed.

Then morning comes. Everyone opens their eyes — and the chaos begins. Five minutes of discussion, accusations, and carefully constructed lies follow. Who saw what? Who moved whose card? Who is bluffing? When the timer ends, everyone simultaneously points at the player they want to eliminate. Most votes wins — and then cards are revealed.

The reveal is always the best moment. The player everyone was sure was a Werewolf turns out to be the Seer. The quiet person in the corner had their card swapped and didn't even know they were a Werewolf. Every round produces a story.

Why No Elimination Changes Everything

Classic Werewolf has one big problem: eliminated players sit out for long stretches while everyone else plays. One Night Ultimate Werewolf solves this completely. Nobody is ever eliminated. Everyone plays every round, start to finish.

This single design decision transforms the experience. There's no downtime, no frustration, and no reason not to play again immediately. When a round ends in 10 minutes and everyone wants to know what would happen with different roles — you just deal again.
